- Establishing appropriate guidelines to reduce product packaging and promote usage of recycled materials
- Maintaining a rigorous corporate review policy within the supply chain process that evaluates and tracks our sourcing partners for compliance to federal and industry environmental standards

As a leader in graphic display products, we believe that responsible actions lead to long-term success. We assure that our products, when used as intended, are safe through out their entire life cycle. In an effort to reduce our environmental footprint, where applicable, our products contain an industry-leading percentage of recycled content. Also, our foaming agent is 100 percent ozone-friendly and our process is formaldehyde free.
In the manufacture of Bienfang Vacuum and Mechanical Presses our process and components are lead free, and in compliance with the RoHS Directive. Additionally, all export equipment is labeled in accordance with the WEEE Directive. We ensure environmentally sound cradle to grave practices.
Furthermore, Elmer’s Products, Inc., the parent company of Bienfang, has launched a nationwide, classroom-based recycling program. The Elmer’s Glue Crew Recycling Program combines Elmer’s expertise in education and creativity with its commitment to sustainable practices. Throughout the school year, participating classrooms, known as the Elmer’s Glue Crew, collect empty glue bottles and glue sticks to be recycled at their nearest Wal-Mart.
